The fast economic growth, in place since 2014 due to the good economic situation in the global economy, leads to an increased state's income.  Combined with the limited growth rate of some expenditures, it gives the government more room for maneuver.

The PiS government claims that the "business constitution" is "the most important reform of Polish economic law for almost 30 years". The most important of its declared goals is to increase the quality of making of business law and to improve the relations between public administration and entrepreneurs. There are five reasons why this is pure propaganda.

Last December and for the very first time, the European Commission activated a provision of the European Treaties (Article 7 TEU) in relation to the rule of law situation in Poland. According to the Commission – a diagnosis we fully agree with – there was and still is a clear risk of a serious breach of the rule of law by Polish authorities.

In the second voting on the subject, the European Parliament approved the Directive on copyright in the digital single market.  438 MEPs voted in favour, 226 against and 39 abstained.

The crucial factor for the safety of public finances is the deficit of the entire public finance sector. The state budget is responsible for less than half of the expenditure. In addition, the public finance sector includes budgets of local governments, the Social Insurance Institution, the Agricultural Social Insurance Institution, the National Health Fund and a number of other entities.

The ongoing discussion in Poland regarding the high variation in wages and income inequality focuses on the way in which added value generated in the economy is distributed between employees (wages), employers (profits) and the government (taxes).

Transport and accommodation are the two services most commonly associated with the sharing economy. However, the catalog of such services is much bigger. People allow strangers to put up tents on their lawns, grow vegetables and fruits on their land, lend their gowns for a party, offer workspace or room for a meeting.

In its latest decisions, the Supreme Court mentioned that the provisions of the Act on the Supreme Court may be inconsistent with the fundamental principles of the EU treaties. This is also the position of the European Commission and important international organizations. It would be appropriate to wait for the judgment of the EU Court of Justice out of respect for the importance of the resolution of this matter.
